Another Bill that he refused to support was HR 7027 - The Child Care Is Essential Act, a National Key Vote, which was to "establish and appropriate $50 billion for the Child Care Stabilization Fund to award grants to child care providers during and after the COVID-19 coronavirus public health emergency."
Here's the importance of it. If the majority of working American stayed home last Spring (which most did), few , very few are using child care centers. The result was that many child care centers went out of business. So, when working American was phased out of self-isolation, many could not go back to work because there were not enough child care centers left where their children could stay during working hours. For single parents, this has been a disaster; losing their income producing job completely. For two-parent homes, this cut their income in half.
What did Congressman Gosar do? He refused to support this critical Bill.
